I am Nishant Kini a resident of J P Nagar Bangalore. I want to report about OLA Cabs duping there customers.
We hired a OLA Cab on 8th September 2013 from J P Nagar 2nd Phase to Sanjay Nagar, after reaching the destination the driver demanded Rs. 303/- as per the meter it only showed Rs. 229.30/-. As the driver mentioned there is a waiting period of 28 minutes which will be charged at Rs. 2/- per minute. When we where booking the cab the executive at the call center said it would be 10 minutes of free waiting post which it would be charged at Rs. 2/- per minute and we got into the car by 10 minutes and when reaching the destination we asked the driver about the waiting time increase he mentioned they also calculate the waiting period which is spent on the transit when we have stopped at a signal or if there is a traffic jam. I told him it is not the information we got and when we tried calling the call center they said they will get back to us in 2 minutes, perhaps they didn’t even bother to call back till today.
OLA Cabs dupes people and are also spoiling other taxi services names by saying they also charge the same way but I have been using taxi services across India and have never witnessed this problem.
I am too unhappy about the service of OLA Cabs and want to tell the general public not to use the cab service of this company.
