Money Refund issues from Tikona for Uid: 1107095331

Location/place: Chennai

Name of company/service: Tikona Broadband

I’ve applied for a 4 Mbps connection at the below address:
Flat No:20, Poorva Kalyani Block,
Ragamaalika Apts Phase-2
Medvakkam, Chennai – 600100.

And paid Rs.2600/- as advance to Mr. Veera from Tikona.
Mr. Veera’s mobile number is: +91 98840 82001. It was determined
by Tikona engineer that 4 Mbps connection is not feasible at
the above mentioned location so, they would be processing
the refund. Here I’ve two issues

1. Even though I’ve paid Rs.2600/- as advance, I’ve got an e-mail
from Tikona that I’d be getting Rs.2400/-. When I was asking for
full amount refund, they asked me the bill, it was my fault that
I didn’t get a receipt from Mr. Veera, so I agreed for Rs.2400/- and
I was expecting the cheque for the same.

2. Today, I’ve received an e-mail from Tikona that I need to go and
collect the cheque from their office since there is ‘NO SERVICE’. I really
don’t know what do they mean by ‘NO SEVICE’. Their office is very
far from my home and I can’t travel unless they pay the convenience/travel
charges or they need to deliver the cheque at my home.

Medavakkam is a familiar suburb in Chennai and Ragamaalika Apartments
are quite famous in this area/locality. I am really wondering that Tikona’s
courier doesn’t have service. In any case, it is not my problem, they need
to arrange for travel or bare my travel expenses to collect cheque from
their office. It is really pathetic to see such poor service for refund of money
while speaking so politely to collect the money.
