Following is the text of the complaint I lodged, but the company is refusing to take any action for the last 12 days.

Subject: Misinformation about Airtel 3G plans.
Dear Sir,
I am using Dongle on PC with number 72192 43771 based in Pune.
I have been recharging using the unlimited plan of Rs. 655 Unlimited as
displayed below on the page http://www.airtel.in/Airtel3G/tariff.html for
Maharashtra & Goa circle.
Recharge amount : 655
Benefit : 3 GB 3G data for 28 days, Unlimited post free usage @ 64 KBPS
Validity : 28 days days
However I never got the post-free usage of @64 kbps.
1. Even after repeated inquiries with Customer Care (Toll free number 1800 1030
405) and repeated tweets to @Airtel_presence. I did not get any satisfactory
answer as to why I am no getting this service.
2. My repeated inquiries about an authentic document which explains the
benefits of the above mentioned plan never got any response.
3. My repeated requests for my recharge history to be displayed on ‘My Airtel’
page under ‘Recharge History’ were not answered.
4. I have repeatedly posted requests seeking readdressal but they have been
closed arbitrarily without my consent expressing ‘Hope’ that my problem has
been ‘automatically’ resolved without Airtel doing anything to resolve it.

5. When I made call to the toll free number 1800 1030 405 on 20 May 2016,
Customer Response executive, who told his name as Kamalesh, admitted that in
reality the 64KBPS speed mentioned in the Plan does not exist and I will not
get this speed.
6. Finally when I made call to the toll free number 1800 1030 405 at 6:28PM on
28 May 2016, a Customer Care officer who told hi name as ‘Raunak’ revealed:
A. There does not exist any official/authentic document which explain in detail
the benefits available.
B. Although they call the plan as ‘Unlimited’, they are actually limited plans
and no 64KBPS speed is made available after free period.
This amounts to breach of trust the customer has in Airtel.
Therefore. I demand:
1. Authentic document should be posted on Airtel website which explain in
detail about the benefits available under each plan. This will ensure that
customers get correct information and don’t feel cheated due to wrong
understanding.
2. All recharge data should be made available to customers so that they are
well informed.
3. I should be duly compensated for the each recharge that I made under The Rs.
655 unlimited plan and the mental harassment it caused due to nonavailablity of
promised benefits.
I hope Airtel, like any well-behaved business, value their customers and make
it a point to resolve their legitimate complaints and grievances.
Please let me what action you are going to take and in how many days.
This will enable to decide the future course of action.
