Harassment of a sick patient by Snapdeal and goJavas

I had ordered a Omron BP monitor(order no 5177819035) for my mom who is a heart patient from snapdeal on the 3rd of March. My mother is recovering from a heart truma and was recently brought back from the
hospital. The doctors had adviced to keep a check on her BP and immediately report any problems. Keeping
that in mind, I ordered this product from snapdeal, paid more and selected a seller who would ship it
in 1 day and true to his word he shipped it the same day.

on 5th March, I got a message from goJavas the logistics partner of snapdeal that it will be delivered
today. I cancelled everything that I was supposed to do that day waited the whole day but it was not
delivered. (goJavas docket # UNISNPC4008745)

I tried to contact goJavas but their Gurgaon customer care number just does not work. Same day I
complained to Snapdeal and told them that this was a medical product and was required urgently. They
promised me that it would be delivered by 8:00 pm that day. Needless to say it did not get delivered on
the 5th but I again got a SMS from goJavas that delivery will be attempted again in 24 hours so i
cancelled my holi plans waited the whole day on 6th as well. It AGAIN did not get delivered.

Today is 7th March and it has STILL not been delivered. After I called snapdeal today evening, again
they game me the usual nonsense that it will be delivered today for sure and when aked if it will be
delivered at midnight and asked to speak to the supervisor, they said that he was busy but they would
arrange for a callback. Needless to say that has probably never happened in the history of snapdeal’s
customer service centre.

I am completely aghast at the attitude and the lack of decency of snapdeal when they were repeatedly
told that this was a medical product for a sick person and yet they did not bother!

I have read a lot of similarly shocking stories here and am now considering taking legal action. What
are my options if I want to do that?

Also, I want to spread word of this to the investors like Bessemer Venture Partners, IndoUS Venture
Partners, Blackrock, Temasek Holdings, PremjiInvest etc who pump in billions into a company that does
not have good customer service as its core values. I’m sure snapdeal will notice the poor little
customers once it hurts them where it matters.
