I had applied for a Teaching post for USA on 23rd March 2013. On 23rd march,2013 , I was called by Ms. Cinthya Xavier , one of the directors of TPG INDIA , TPG INDIA TEAM, 601 Divyashakthi Complex, Ameerpet, Hyderabad-500016, India., Ph No: 91 40 23741942/43/44, Fax: 91 40 23741941, www.tpgindia.com who spoke on behalf of the TPGIndia and explained how so many people where appointed to USA as International Educators from their successful company.
As per their program I was asked to send all the required documents duly signed on all the pages and a Refundable Deposit of Rs 49,800 (Forty Nine Thousand Eight Hundred only) as early as possible to initiate the hiring process. Refundable Deposit was to be sent to any one of the banks accounts mentioned in the mail to their Founder President Mr.Mohan’s HDFC Account. Bank Deposit details: Account Name-TPG India C/A A/C. No – 16272000000242, IFSC Code- HDFC0001627 Andhra Bank, Ameerpet Branch, Hyderabad-16, Andhra Pradesh.
This amount was duly send by me and they had send me the receipts also.
Subsequently, a interview was scheduled by Ms. Cynthia on 24-03-2013 over phone and I was informed on the 25th march 2013, I had been selected and I have to make a further payment of Rs. 75600/- towards ticket as it was a group booking. but i did not make that payment cos i read about them in a blog on 24th march 2013. Since then I had been trying to contact them over phone and by mail. Initially they were giving some sort of excuses and were very sorry for the delay in the process and kept me occupied till December. Then they mentioned about some mishappenings between their foreign counterparts. From that time they have been promising that they would make payment. But they have not done the refund. Now, there is no one to pick up the phone or reply to my mail or refund my money either. They are very much active on social networking sites like facebook , LinkedIn and their website is also active.
Recently I saw a grievance from a person against TPGINDIA in your forum that gave me the courage to write to you, so that more people are not duped this way. I gave them enough time to refund my money. Many request letters sent for refund but of no use. Finally, I am left with no other go but to lodge a complaint against these people.
