denial of service, cheating and harassment

I own a dish tv connection with vc no. 01514673468. Due to the recent cyclone in vizag, my antenna and LNB were blown away and I placed a request for reinstallation on 21st Oct. I was promised that it would be done within 24 hours. It’s been 15 days and more than 30 calls to customer care and I’m yet to receive a call back from them. Every time I’m told that sir plz give us one chance and it would be done but nobody is willing to take any action. I had requested 5 days back that my account balance as on 22nd oct, the date by which I was promised that my connection would be restored be refunded to me but I’m yet to receive a reply on that even though I was told that the matter has been escalated to the highest possible level. I had a balance of around Rs 3000 in my account which is being deducted daily for no reason. Even though these guys are charging around 1200 for reinstallation still not doing anything. Whereas other operators like Tata sky with a much larger consumer base are charging just 160 bucks for replacement and reinstallation. The second biggest operator videocon is doing it for free and those guys have got more than 50 technicians from other parts of the state to carry out reinstallation at the earliest which they have already almost finished. But clearly those guys have providing service and helping their consumers as the motto but these guys just want money. I have written numerous mails even to the nodal officer and even tried calling him but did not get any response. I asked for contact numbers of senior officials to whom I can speak but these guys are just not willing to help. I’m left with no other option but to move to consumer court.

  2. I have already spoken enough times. I just want my money back. Return it or else let consumer court decide. I’m not going to spend anymore money on dish TV now. If I have to spend money then why should I go for your pathetic service? I have already suffered a lot. Just return my money.
