Delay in refund of booking amount for purchase of a residential apartment

Magnolia Limited is delaying the refund.

I have booked The ELITE Block-A , Unit No 306 in the month of February,2013 by paying booking money of INR 51000/=
vide Chq No 699575 dated 15th February 2013 for INR 25000/= & Chq No 699576 dated 28th February 2013 for INR 26000/= on SBI SaltLke .

The chques were issued in favour of M/s Magnolia Infrastructure Development Limited .

Due to certain recent financial emergencies in the family , I would like to cancel this booking & request you earnestly to refund the
above money at your earliest please.

I would also retun back the money receipts in case these are needed to be retuned back to M/s Magnolia Infrastructure.

Request your help in cancellation of the booking & return the booking amount soon as this is needed to overcome
my financial emergency .

As discussed with you , I would like to state here that for my daughter’s education , I need to pay a substantial amount
to the educational institution where she would be admitted & pursue her professional career.

I was keen in buying the flat & accordingly I was insisting your sales person to complete the agreement formalities
as I have managed funds for that after redemption of my Mutual Funds.

But due to this critical need , I have to withdraw from my desire to buy a flat & keep the money for my daughter’s education.

Hence , considering the above fact & on humanitarian ground request you to kindly refund me INR 26000/= as this would
help me lot in this hour of crisis. I do not ask for the first 25000/= as this is supposed to be deducted.

This is for your kind information that, we will refund you Rs.26,000/- after deduction of Rs.25,000/- as Cancellation Charges.
We are opening your flat for sale. Once your flat will be sold to another client, we will call you and will refund your rest amount of Booking Money.
