Sub: – Critical – Pending Reversal/Refund of Rs. 13,00,000/- to Opendoors Fintech Private Limited (Namaste Credit)
We, Opendoors Fintech Private Limited have been using Happay Services since last couple of years and our Account No. vide VA560063279. We have wrongly transferred an amount of Rs. 13,00,000/- (Rupees Thirteen Lacs only) to our Happay Account as on 11th Oct 2021 vide Transaction UTR No. N284211669509705 Dated: – 11th Oct 2021
Since the payment was actually supposed to be made to some of our prime vendors on an urgent basis, we quickly requested HAPPAY Team to get the reverse of the said amount by creating a ticket vide Ref No. 1151864 dated: – 11st of Oct 2021 as well as sent mail with all the details. We had requested to take this matter on priority basis and have the money returned back to us immediately on 11st of Oct 2021 itself. But the said payment is promised to credit by next day Tuesdays, 12th of Oct 2021 by Happay Team over call as we have shared our concern that we need this money back as these payments is very urgent in nature to be paid to some of our prime suppliers on which our business heavily relies upon. We waited for the next day and surprisingly the payments have not come in next days as well as assured. We called again the Happay support team, and we got a scripted response that you guys are working on the same and it is being review and approved by internal team on high priority and should be done ASAP. Surprisingly Happay has an internal policy of 7-8 Days for any Refund Process. We do not know why 7-8 days are required to return back our own money and that has nothing to do with your internal policy.
It is not good to keep your consumer’s money and frame your own rules as to when you will return the money citing company internal policy. Why Happay is charging Rs. 500 +GST for reversing the said amount? We have to agree with no options but would like to let you know that It does not seem a fair business practice. The amount involved here is a huge Rs. 13 Lacs of rupees and we can wait for 7-8 Days to have the amount back as this is critical for our business operations.
We have requested multiple times over the week from 11th Oct 2021 to 14th Oct 2021 reaching out to Happay customer support, Mr. Varun Rathi (Director) and Mr. Sudish Kumar (Operations Head) over call and mails and share our critical concern to return back the amount to us. But as on today 15th Oct 2021 we have not yet received the amount of Rs. 13,00,000/- (Rupees thirteen Lacs Rupees). All the commitments made by Happay Team over the week failed to materialise into action and so our commitments made based on Happay’s commitments also got failed and now we are into a Big Financial trouble as we failed to make payments to our prime vendors in time as promised. This has resulted in negative business and market situation for us and affected our goodwill and brand reputation in the market all over India as this is a festival season and vendors are waiting for payments by us to manage their business operations. Happay Team gave us false commitments and false hope all the weekdays and still the amount is not credited to us. The customer support team including directors has completely failed to address this critical situation for us as a loyal customer like us who has been associated since past 5 years now.
THE INACTION ON HAPPAY’S (VA Tech Ventures Private Limited) PART TO REVERSE THE PAYMENT WRONGLY SENT TO HAPPY IS CAUSING HUGE BUSINESS LOSSES AND AFFECTING OUR BUSINESS GOODWILL AND BRAND REPUTATION IN THE MARKET IN A VERY NEGATIVE WAY. IT IS NOW REALLY CREATING BAD BUSINESS IMPRESSION FOR US AS A COMPANY IN THE MARKET IN PAN INDIA LEVEL. IT IS CAUSING VERY MUCH INCONVENIENCE FOR US AND IT MAY ALSO AFFECT THE TRUST FACTOR DOING BUSINESS WITH HAPPAY (VA Tech Ventures Private Limited)
HAPPAY (VA Tech Ventures Private Limited) has failed to address critical business concerns of its valuable customers like us and does not have a sound/fair/transparent business practice and is negligent in addressing its customer’s critical concerns like this and can not be trusted at all with customer’s money now. We are dissatisfied with your services and casual approach to critical concerns from your customers like this giving fake hope and commitments, delay in returning our own money to us. We will re-evaluate the similar products in the market for Expenses Management and shall be making a move out of the platform very soon for sure. HAPPAY (VA Tech Ventures Private Limited) is not at all a consumer centric company for sure.
We do hereby for the last time requesting again to return an amount of rupees Rs. 13,00,000/- (Rupees Thirteen Lacs) to us with interest @ 24 % PA immediately without any more failures/delays on your part. Please make a note of the fact that your response/actions now on the critical matter will determine our next course of actions to be taken including available legal options to get our money back to us.
