Bhaap – Nokia Lumia 820

I have purchased Nokia Lumia 820 from Bhaap.com on 24 December 2013.(Invoice No. 100004799 , Order No. 100010313 , Vat tin. 29610648364)costing Rs.15999.

Set stopped working in April 2014 , and same informed to Bhaap via customer care.

They replied that – we give full manufacturer warranty , but when I took set to Nokia care – they told me – This set warranty is valid in Dubai only and NOT in India.

I feel Bhaap has cheated me by giving me set whose warranty is not valid in INDIA , I explained this many times in my mails (about 10mails) but they keep saying that – “they give full manufacturer warranty”

Also they failed to provide me any warranty card – which says that set has warranty valid in INDIA.

    Dear sir,
    I Atul Verma staying at RZ-40,Gali No.1 Roshan Garden,Najafgarh,New Delhi having phone number 09871342332, submitted my nokia lumia 1520 (RED COLOR) to authorised nokia care service centre (SS enterprise Dwarka sector 12 ) owned by Mr Honey Sehgal regarding my problem for hanging,call drop,no service,nokia mix radio not opening,charging issue and battery issue initially when i submitted on 19 august with its charger as it had problem regarding charging,they said they would swap my charger and give me new one in 10 days but they did not give me my charger till 11th sep almost after one month.My phone they returned back to me after a week on 26th August with my phone tray ejector lost and my phone invoice bill lost by service centre gaurav and they just updated the software and gave it back to me after so many days,then i submitted the phone again after facing same problems and meanwhile contacted nokia customer care 01130303838 almost everyday since my first submission and when on 10th day after my second submission i contacted nokia customer care they said that your phone has no fault found as told to them by service centre as nokia customer care department said that service centre examined your handset properly this time using it for 5 days,so i called service centre regarding status of my phone and service centre asked me the password of my cellphone ,then i was shocked how can they examine my handset for 5 days and how can they say to customer care that no fault has been found when they dont even have password of my handset ,that means for 10 days my phone was unchecked as it is and on 11th day they asked me password,then they gave me my handset back second time still with no charger and both the times no backup phone was provided to me and even after pick and drop facility for this high end phone no proper pickup and drop to me .after they gave me phone second time around 8th september they gave it with empty battery so i could not check it properly and their executive pawan said this problem cant be sorted out from our nokia service centre dwarka so just sign the receiving of you handset and then so you better contact nokia customer care and ask them to swap your phone rather than submitting it to service centre again third time.phone was not getting on after they gave me my phone second time and was having no sim error this time.so i told this matter to them and also complaint repeatedly about my delayed replacement charger then they gave me same charger which i submitted after 30 days on 11th september after pressure from nokia customer care as it was scratched not new.so due to all these problems i submitted my handset again on 11th september after two days because wednesday was their weekly off and tuesday was so late to be submitted refused to submit my phone third time and asked for replacement but on 11th september but after repeated calls through ravinder of backend team of nokia customer care and his repeated requests to get my phone examined once again at nokia service centre i went there on 11th september and found same problems with no sim error and when their engineer rafique opened my phone completetly including sim jack tray everything and checked thouroughly and said to ravinder of nokia customer care backend team that all 6 pins of sim are alright but still there is no sim and no service error they submitted my phone and sent to main head office for repair or replacement as i dint want to submit there again after there carelessness and not working or not giving attention to my phone,so my phone was sent to head office on 11th september and reached there then i called them around 16th sep they said they received my handset and everything i under observation and repair and head team is deciding to repair it or replace it then i called them today almost after 8 days today on 19thsep then all of sudden they said my phone is declared out of warranty by head ofiice of nokia as sim pins are broken and i have to bear the cost of repair also my phone would be out of warranty for future and they are dispathing my phone today afternoon through courier to service centre dwarka unrepaired declaring it out of warranty.when they could not help or solve my problem after more than 60 times calls and complaints to nokia customer care they did this to my phone with no solution declaring it out of warranty.i had all screenshots of problems in my phone while hanging battery backup issue and everything and have those pictures as proof still in my memory card which i showed to nokia service centre too many times but to no help in end.i still have the recieving job sheet of my phone after submitting it on 11th september for third time which has written on it in warranty and also if my phone pin would have been broken already then why would nokia service centre dwarka would have sent it to head office after examining properly and opening the phone completetly and giving me “in warranty” certificate and they even called and informed ravinder of backend team of nokia customer support about the same that all 6 pins are alright completely in place.i dont know what happened between dwarka service centre and nokia customer support team and head office weather they purposely or accidently damaged it while opening my sim tray,jack or phone to get rid of my repeated complaints and demanding replacement handset.or is the sim pin still allright and they declared it directly out of warranty to get rid of me and my complaints once for all for entire future as i gave bad feedback everytime on nokia customer care survey after every call to nokia customer care team as after so much efforts and complaints my issues wasnt solved,i had to face lots of harassment by nokia as i had to take leave from office in order to repeatedly visit nokia service centre and repeatedly calling them for so many hours i lost lots of money and precious time and my energy.so finally i want nokia to either give me a replacement handset for my handset or give me complete refund of my money.i even have proof of their service centre backend team babli malhotra saying that your handset was not examined by pawan of same nokia service centre dwarka even after babli told her many times to examine my phone properly,he never checked it and directly declared no fault found after second time submission as he is very lazy (this babli malhotra said)so my complaint is against entire nokia company (ravindra backend team to name a few) to whomsoever it may concern and honey sehgal owner of nokia service centre dwarka.its on them to decide among themselves and pay for my loss.if my phone would have been out of warranty then would not have been sent to nokia head office for repair or replacement after thorough examination by nokia service centre dwarka and i would not have been given in warranty certificate in my job sheet having ASC Code 3782 of submitting my handset submitted third time on 11th sep 2014 and imei number of my nokia lumia 1520 is 358342051062648.which is my biggest proof against them.kindly look into this matter and provide necessary solution asap as i am filing complaint even to consumer forum in consumer court.i want proper resolution in refund of my money of replacement of my handset as your refused to repair it and declared it warranty void by ROE department and ravinder of backend team of nokia customer support care line who is handling my complaint.i already lost one of my nokia lumia white color due to its touch cracked even if display was ok nokia service centre dwarka asked me 21000 for its repair which was about 16500 as told by other nokia service centres in delhi.now this is my second handset nokia lumia 1520 red color and this also is made disaster case by nokia and in such situations repeatedly who would buy nokia?or even trust them even for top most high end phone if such is case of service,
