I lost my SBI ATM cum debit card in feb 2013 and raise the 1st request on March 15th,2013. After raising 4 requests as none of the precious CCE has updated my request of new ATM card properly in the system, so the card was not generated finally in May when i called CCE and gave him all the details and tyold him clearly to update my request for new ATM card, finally it was taken and on June 15th i collected my ATM card and pin no. from my home branch. However, when i tried using it pin no. was showing invalid, so i contacted my home branch SBI Badarpur BTPS, they initially hesitated saying i have taken the card from some other branch but after showing them all the proof, they got convinced and told me they will raise the request for refreshing the Pin and after 4 days i got a call from my home branch saying i need to contact customer care to order for a new ATM pi and when i contacted to my surprise, i was told my card is blocked and i have to visit my home branch. To my surprise, after 5 months frm the date i had raised a request for ATM card finally i have received a card and that too it is block. and to add upon that whenever anyone from the branch call or any communication with any SBI personnel they never disclose their name so when we tell them i got a call from a branch saying i need to call customer care, next question i a m being asked is whom did you talk to ? I m facing this iss with our National Bank, i m sorry to say with this sort of experience, i would prefer banking with personal bank. My money is lying in their bank and the officials of SBI just want me to visit their branch every now and then cause they dnt have a facility to take request of new ATM /Debit over the phone, again they want us to visit the branch to get the form filled for so many useless things. SBI is harrasing me since 5 months and whenever i ask for a complaint no. from CCE, they put the call on hold and later on they disconnect the call. This is how our National Bank is behaving with its investor. Kindly look into this.
