Activated my MTS datacard postpaid service without my consent and raised a bill of Rs. 735/-

I was using a postpaid datacard service titled mblaze plus from MTS service providers for a couple of months. After 6 months of effective usage, due to some personal needs, I requested MTS to deactivate my datacard service and stated them to inform me about a prepaid service, whenever its available. I also said that i will activate my datacard from August 2014 onwards.

Few days later, a person MTS called me and suggested that, its better to keep the card ‘ONGOING’ as the same will turn null and void if I am not using it for a series of months. He also said that no money will be raised in the bill which will come in my name. He actually said these lines and also said that whenever there is any new offer on prepaid service, he will let me know.

Also, repeatedly, I said that I don’t want to make my card ‘ONGOING’ now and will do that later. But he convinced me finally (Damn, why I got convinced?), and said that everything will be fine.

Now, few days back, MTS raised a bill of of Rs. 735 and sent the same to me. I was so so surprised! I am not using it and the bill came…What The Hell? I called them couple of times and they said that I have already told them to activate my card from July 2014. How this is possible? Am I mad? I had some real heated arguments with them and all they said that I have to pay the money as their system is showing that I have already told them to activate my datacard service.

What kind of a company is MTS? firstly, they will repeatedly beg to take their datacards and then they will keep confusing souls to run their company and we, the consumers will pay for their faults. I have told them also, to deactivate my card finally.
