I took ICICI Prudential life insurance policy through ICICI bank. I got cheated by the bank agent. In the beginning they told me that you will have to pay 1 lakh per annum for five years and you will get 8 lakhs after five years but with in next fifteen days of taking the policy they changed their statement they told me that you will get approximately 6.70 only. I opted the plan on 3rd march 2014. There was also a clause for cancellation the policy with in 15 days after receiving the policy documents. They cleverly showed fake receiving of policy document so that I could not be able to cancel the policy. I told them that I didn’t receive any policy documents they told me that you have already received the document on 13/04/2014. When I complaint they send me again the document on 5th June and on the same day I submitted the cancellation request. They rejected my complaint by saying that you have already received the document on 13/04/2014 so you can not cancel the policy. You need to submit the complaint with in 15 days of receiving the policy kit. I have made several complaints to them that I didn’t receive any policy document but no body is listening to me. I have complaint to chairman also but getting the same reply that now I can not cancel the policy. I am fighting from last seven to eights month but not getting any satisfactory reply form the company. Please help me in the matter. I belong to very middle family. I have invested my 1 lakh rupees with them and now they are ready to eat my money.
