This is to inform you that I, Mr. Avijit Basu as a customer using your’s company’s Hard Disk more than 10 years but never faced any service related problem but recently I have facing a lots of problem regarding Hard Disk replacement in warranty period. I never faced this type of problem in my entire life.
I have purchased one 500 GB Hard disk (S/L:-9VMA43T5) on the dated 13.02.2010.As per invoice warranty specified that 36 months from the purchased. Recently my hard Disk gets some trouble, so I went to Seagate service centre(Accel Frontline-I Floor, 27, Shakespeare Sarani, Kolkatta-700 017) for warranty replacement but after inspection my HDD they have told me that my Hard Disk showing out of warranty, you better need to talk to your dealer of your warranty replacement. When I had visited my dealer office(Saboo Computer-6, Ganesh Chandra Avenue, Kolkata) for warranty replacement they simply denied to replace my HDD and told me that warranty as per manufacturer they can’t help it.
But as per invoice the Hard Disk in warranty till the date.
In these circumstances I faced lots of problem to replace my 500 GB Hard Disk.
For your kind information and to draw your attention, I attached the scan copy of my warranty original invoice. My customer ID number is HA10010613.
