Dear Sir/Madam,

Complaint No. – 1584386466

I am Santhosh Raj R (Shantosh Raj R as per bill), I bought four postpaid connection from Vodafone Service Provider for my family that billing cycle is 21st – 2oth of every month. On that, i have activated the GPRS 99 Corp plan for these no’s (9962238909, 9962238908, and 9962238907). We have been using GPRS99 facility from 21st May 2013 onwards.
In the mean time my brother not interested to use GPRS service, for that i have drafted a mail to [email protected] on 23rd August 2013 @3.19 PM to de-activate the GPRS99 for 9962238909. Without SMS notification they have de-activated the GPRS service.
Bill Break-up for GPRS:
GPRS (Usage in KB) Usage Charges
(in KB) (Rs.)
24/08/13 VF Mobile Connect 197100 1971
25/08/13 VF Mobile Connect 41930 419.1
Total 2390.1

We have been wrongly billed on 24th August 2013, due to delay in communication. The total payment of Rs. 3024.38 has been paid through HDFC Credit Card Smart Pay on 29th September 2013.
For this wrong bill all my efforts ( Called the customer care on 23rd September, 2013 and spoken with Jemisa from retention team for more than an hour same has been repeated for more than 4 days )
I’m ready to produce all the necessary evidences as and when require for these smooth completion.
Taking all my efforts and misery into concern, I request you to waiver Rs 1971.00 (24th August 2013 Charges).
Request you to compensate for all the precious time wasted and the pains that I have taken.
Problem which I faced,
1. No proper notification for the de-activation (SMS not received after the de-activation)
2. Miscommunication on GPRS plan (Not intimated that the whole month rent will be taken once de-activation is done)
3. Actual de-activation mail received on 24th August 2013 @ 5.30pm, but the de-activation happened on 24th August 2013 morning itself.
4. Wrong information given by the Customer care regarding the de-activation ( It was said de-activation by mail will take 2days, so unknowingly we have used the GPRS)
