I am Airtel DTH user. On 17th June’2013, i shifted my house to new place in same city (hardly 4 kms from my old accommodation). I wanted to shift my DTH antenna to new location.
I faced following problems related to customer care of Airtel DTH –
1. I made number of attempt to call Airtel DTH customer care 18001028080. Most of time it is busy.
2. Whenever it gets connected i was lost in their pre recorded questionnaire. Because there was no option available for DTH antenna shifting.
3. I chose option of talking to their expert, and there was long waiting period.
4. Finally once i got connected with customer care executive, but he told that system was not working.
5. I somehow managed to get the number of Jamshedpur, i called them and logged request. They told that engineer would be sent tomorrow, but no one came. I followed up with them, every time they said that engineer would go tomorrow.
6. Then i called 03344448080, i faced similar problem. At last i got connected with them on 29th June’2013.
7. I don’t know what is the point of pre-recorded questionnaire, when you have to tell every details again.
8. Already customer have painful experience of customer care, over and above now they have started advertisement on call also. A problem which can be solved over 2 minute discussion take 8-15 minutes.
I couldn’t enjoy TV for last 12 days. Till now, antenna has not got shifted. Hopefully it will get shifted by tomorrow as promised by customer care.
