Dear Sir:
I would like to inform you that today I received an sms from LM-SBICRD saying that my card’s has been increased to 172000, to accept I was asked to sent a msg back to 56767. After I had sent off the msg accepting, a number of phone calls came and several “executives” spoke to me – one first saying that I would have to pay Rs6999/- for this upgraded card to get certain benefits which were detailed to me. I got the impression that this was the charges for upgradation. Anyway, with a duped understanding I committed to that offer and the money has been booked on my sbicard. In the process I realized that one organization called cachemarcantile.com will be giving me certain benefits and offers. I now have realized that I did not want to do this and there was very little scope of a second thought. I realize that have done a mistake. Now I want the following – please advise:
1. I would like to have the offer reversed. I do not want to pay the amount Rs6999/-. Is there a room for that?
2. I would like to put this on record, that banking on the good faith and fairness that sbicard has, this kind of half- transparent dealings that are passed on from sbicard executives to other merchant executives. This need be corrected.
