Unethical practice of MSC India Pvt. Ltd.

We have booked container nos. DRYU2499801/20’ for Dar es salaam, Tanzania dated 28/11/2014 on

MSC line. At the time of booking , MSC shipping line did not ask for MSDS and accepted booking as non

Haz material. Goods have been cleared by custom Tkd-Delhi dated- 1 Dec 2014 and handed over to shipping line. Line has moved the cargo for Mundra port for loading on

vessel. Cargo was planned to load on vessel scheduled on 20/12/2014. When cargo reached to

Mundra port, shipping line asked for MSDS. We have provided MSDS to them then they have

declared some of cargo as hazardous and refused to load container on vessel and said to rework the

container at Mundra port and remove the cargo which declared hazardous by the shipping line. Now

container laid at Mundra port for reworking. We have send the request to custom authority to issue permission to rework the container at port and waiting for custom’s permission.
During this we have booked another shipment with MSC shipping line for same destination as HAZ cargo. Now the problem that MSC line has hold the BL for this second container and asked for Rs 2 lacs security for first container. We have given security amount to MSC line but they still not ready to release the bill of lading(BL) of second container and saying that when reworking of first container will done then they will release BL while reworking of first container can’t be done without custom permission. MSC is unethically trying to create the problem for second container also so that MSC line can make huge money. We want some help regarding this. Shipping line are making money by unethical practices and creating problem for exporters.
