Uber cab has been launched in Kolkata and launched promotions with referrals. But it happened to me in a couple of occasions where the app shows me that I am eligible for a referral free ride but once I avail that it deducts money from me instead of using the referral promo. While I enquire, it informs me that I have breached the terms and conditions and Uber has all the rights to revoke my referral points and suspend the account.
My point here is if I have breached any terms and conditions I should be informed earlier and my account could be locked and referrals revoked at that point of time instead of when I use the cab with the impression that I am going to receive my earned referral points but at the end I see that I have been charged from my bank account which totally unexpected.
Please look into the matter.
