Hi Sir,
With all due respect it becomes very essential for me to tell you the disputes which are done by the HDFC Credit Card Dept.with me because i am trying so hard to close this matter but the HDFC Credit Card employees are not cooprating with me and its around 7-8 months the matter is still present in the same state after so many discussions.
I have taken the HDFC Credit Card previous Year in JUN 2012 through one of the HDFC agent.After that when i was using the credit card in the month of Oct. i just got to knew that the dept has issued a HDFC Standard Life Insurance Sampoorn Samridhi Policy 15257576 on the credit card without my any kind of Confimation whether it was a telephonic or the mail confirmation.
When I was taking the credit card I have trusted the agent and the department and they just told me to provide my proofs and they will fill the application form and will issued the credit card.At that time I have told them to send any type of communication on my particular mailing address only , each and every document which I got was on that address only but for the documents related to this policy was sent to the wrong Address Qtr 8/TYPE4,GPRA Colony Sikandra,Agra for which I have just given the Address Proof of that and it should not be considered as my mailing address. Also I didn’t confirmed anything for this through telephonic communication but this policy was applied to the credit card without my consideration.
Till that point of time i had paid the credit amount bill as per the payment department like i got calls and they said that i need to pay this amount and i paid genuinely.But when the charges on my credit card were increasing randomly then I got to knew about this policy issuance and deduction of amount.

My Total Credit Card Amount Usage: Rs:32,683
Amount I hae paid : Rs.13,350
Remaining Amount of my Usage: Rs.19,333
After this i personally went to the HDFC Credit Card Office Branch,Sec43 Chandigarh and meet with the HDFC Manager Mr.Nitin Sharma,i have explained him everything like about the policy issuance etc. and i said that i am ready to pay the amount used by me from the credit card but other then that i didn’t confirmed for the policy and also i don’t know the details of that policy so just close this matter after taking my usage amount.
Till Aug13 i was in continuous contact with him and he assures me that he will try to cancel the policy and will try to solve this matter.He has also asked me to do some payments within that period of time to resolve the policy issue and i have done that even i paid some amount in Apr13 also after discussion,but nothing happened and in the meanwhile i was getting the calls from the payment recovery departments for the payment and i told them that there are some disputes going on in my credit card and i have contacted the senior person for this but then also they continuously harassing me,misbehaving with me,calling me, continuously.
They were so rude and talked with me like if i am a culprit and if i dont want to settle this issue.I am a genuine person and i hope you understand that If i was the culprit then i would not went to meet with the manager of HDFC and will not make any kind of follow ups,discussions and payments to resolve this matter.
After this also i met with the HDFC Standard Life Manager Mr.Jaspreet Singh for the cancellation of this policy so that it will try to resolve the issue then he just said that the policy will not be able to cancel before 3yrs etc. and didn’t provided me the satisfied solution for my problem.
After these so many discussions I just got to knew that like my address many other information like the Salary description was also mentioned wrongly in this policy profile and the application form filled for this policy was also done by the agent not by me.So this is another mistake done by the bank.
Then today also i met personally with the Recovery Department Head Ms.Suparna Sharma in HDFC branch,Bankhouse,Industrial Area,ph-1 chandigarh, and i have shown her all my usage statements and the receipts which i paid to done but she was not even trying to understand anything.Today also I said her that i am ready to pay the remaining amount of 19,333rs to your bank just right now and want to close this matter but she was keep asking me to pay the amount which she has settled of rs.40000 which was not fair at all.
According to her i need to pay rs.40000 amount exclusive of the amount i have paid till now,i didn’t understand why will i pay the amount which i didn’t even use.She and some of her associate employees even don’t know the exact details about my usages like one person is saying that you have used rs.38000 from the credit card,another one is saying that the usage is of rs.62000 ,like that and they just randomly taking out the figures to show that i need to pay rs.40000.
They said that i need to pay the rate of interest till this time,but when i have already contacted the senior person to resolve the issues going on the credit card then genuinely why will i pay the amount until & unless the matter resolves but then also as described above i paid.
She and her associates were also misbehaving with me and not listening to me and trying to forcing me to pay the amount and they were not even ready to understand and want to find out the solution for this.They also scolded me that we will take this matter legally and all.
Its around 7-8 months I am trying so hard to solve this issue, i have all the statements of my usage and all the receipts which i have paid to the bank. But after talking to so many people in HDFC I am not abel to see any genuine person and anykind of solution for this.
I am very disappointed and frustrated now with all this matter and will not even trust anyone in the department and it is degrading its reputation in my eyes and in my colllegues also.
Today also i am ready to pay rs.19333 which was my remaining usage pending to the bank and which is the genuine amount ,even i have told them that i will pay 5000rs etc. to close this matter but other then that why will i pay the rs.40000amount which is a huge amount for me and also which i didn’t even use from the bank.
I am looking forward for your action and i hope you will take this as a matter of urgency as i am your customer and i hope i will get a fair solution for this ASAP.
