Tikona Router collected but still receiving bills Complaint

I am Prasanjit Maity (Account ID – 1105141750). This is with reference to the CPE Removal Letter with WO ID – 2932391 dated 23-11-2012.

I had requested in the month of November-2012 to discontinue my subscription to Tikona internet. As a response to it, an engineer called pravin (SDE Name – Manish, SE ID – 500010824, Contact No. 8879696317) visited my home and collected all the devices/instruments like router, cable, etc. that i had received with the subscription.

But at the end of the month i received a bill from Tikona, and kept receiving those bills in the subsequent months as well. When I contacted Tikona customer care i was told that they did not receive any termination request from my side.

I tried to reason with the officials, if that is the case then how come a Tikona engineer visits my home and collects the devices, and in return provides me a letter mentioning that the said activity has been completed. But the officials did not listen to me.

I followed on this for 2 months and then i gave up. But on 20-07-2013 i received a call from an advocate from Delhi(Contact no. 8957629009), saying that Tikona has registered a case against me for outstanding dues worth Rs. 3164.95.

This is outrageous. How can they do this. This time i spoke to the customer care again, and they asked me to send me a scanned copy the CPE letter. I did, but till now i have not received any response from them.

I sense that they will once again delay the proceedings and at the end i will have to face all the problems.

Everyone knows Rs. 3000 is not that much a big issue. But registering a case against your client is a height. Trust me Tikona this will not go down well. If I receive any letter from any court/police authority, then i will counter sue you for harassment.

    I am Bhupendra ( MY Id – 1107345578 ) . I am also facing the same problem. I have disconnected my internet connection by calling and by sending a mail to customer care, The connection was in indore. I was shifted to noida in march , so that connection is not required any more. But they have generated a bill against me. If i was not using that connection than how the bill was generated. I have returned all the devices and also I have the mails which I have sent customer care. Completely harassed by company.

    Now I am getting call from ( Contact no. 8957629009), and he is saying that I need to pay 700 / – amount other wise they are going to register a case in Delhi high court.

    I am very serious on this point now, pls make sure that if any case is registered against me , i will register a case of mental harassment, with all the PHOTO COPIES OF MAIL AND RECEIPT.
