I was a Tikona customer (Tikona user ID: 1106223715) for more than 4 years. The broadband service provided by Tikona was very pathetic but had to continue for such a long period as there was no other ISP in my area who could provide Wired broadband services.
On Oct 5th 2015 I sent an email to [email protected] to close my broadband connection (request number received for the same from Tikona was ‘1-3695934262’) and also asked them to send back a written acknowledgement of service closure. Needless to say the pathetic broadband service ignored it completely and did not even called me to inquire about it. I also sent follow up emails for the same to Tikona on 14th Oct 2015 (request number received for the same from Tikona was ‘1-3712456613’) and 4th Nov 2015 (request number received for the same from Tikona was ‘1-3749020623’). Till date I have not got any reply from Tikona on my service closure request.
Despite my several request to close the broadband service, Tikona did not stopped my broadband service and kept sending bills every month. From Dec 2015 I started receiving calls from Tikona for bill payment which I refused saying I want a reply from them in written before I pay any bill.
Tikona still didn’t replied to any of my email. In Jan 2016 (don’t remember the exact date) I got a call from Tikona asking why i want to close the service (after 3 months of raising first closure request). After explaining her all the issues I was facing the customer care representative asked me if i can refer Tikona to any of my friends. This shows how stupid are people in Tikona, they were asking me to refer their service to my friends knowing that i am closing the service in frustration.
Recently i have started receiving threatening calls and emails from Tikona asking me to pay the outstanding bill or they will take legal action against me.
Why should I pay the bills for Tikona’s lack of action on my request to stop the services?
