I had registered a complaint no. 4890541 dated 5/8/2010 with IFB Appliances for washing machine which is not functioning properly and is under AMC. After a few days of complaint the technician came and inspected the machine to find that its motor required replacement. He informed that the new motors were not available with their service centre and therefore it may take some time for replacement. The motor was replaced on 13/8/2010. I had to pay Rs. 150/- as the transportation charge only as the machine is under AMC.
The machine ran okay for two days and thereafter the dryer stopped working. Complaint to the effect was registered as 4961059 dated 18/8/2010. The technician (Shri Brijeshbhai) came the next day and fixed some wirings inside the machine and asked me to inform on his Mob. No. 9924050404 about working of the machine. The next day, after finding that the fault was not rectified, I informed Shri Brijeshbhai on his mobile number that the dryer was still not working. No one came to attend the problem despite my reminder to call centre on 21.8.2010.
I made another call to the call centre on 23.8.2010 to remind about the problem. It was informed to me that the complaint no. 4961059 dated 18.8.2010 had been closed. Another fresh complaint no. 4987160 dated 23.8.2010 was given. But despite my repeated reminders no one has yet come to fix the problem. I request that company may please be directed for repair of washing machine at the earliest.
