I have always heard, selling is done by speaking lies as sales people always tend to convince their prospective customers by speaking lies and end up trapping the innocent customer to buy the product. But, I never believed this, until I found it to be true when I myself became a victim in the hands of your Mr.Anand Singh, Mr.Zubin, Mr.Santosh, Mr.Darshan & others in your DS1 Sales Team, who have very calculatedly and deliberately CHEATED me by delivering me a 2013-manufactured car, instead of June 2014 manufactured car as was assured to me by your DS1 Sales Team while I was venturing for it.
This is just UNBECOMING of TATA GROUP.
On 15/07/2014, I had attended your delivery ceremony process and taken delivery of my car. At the ceremony process while in good faith I duly signed all the formality papers and also customer satisfaction report, little I did not realize that I was being cheated by your DS1 Sales Team that they were delivering me a 2013 manufactured car.
After returning home, when I was going through the invoice, insurance copy, only then to my surprise & shock I noticed on the insurance copy that my car delivered by you is of 2013-manufactured period. You have not only cheated me by delivering a 2013 manufactured car, but you have also cheated me on the insurance payment collected. During my venture, your DS1 Sales Team had shown me your price list and convinced me that a sum of Rs.8325 per year x 3 years [Standard Insurance Premium] will be paid to the insurance company and accordingly, I shall be handed over the first year insurance copy along with renewal coupons for the next two years. However, here too, to my surprise and shock you have cheated me by making a payment to the insurance company [ONLY] a sum of Rs.3719 per year as against Rs.8325 per year as promised by your DS1 Sales Team. More so, you have also surreptitiously evaded mentioning the car-manufacturing year on the invoice too.
On the very same day [i.e.15/07/2014] I had called on Mr.Anand Singh on his mobile 9964647379 at 18:14 pm and informed him about the 2013 manufactured car handed to me in spite of June 2014 manufactured car as was assured by him and his DS1 Sales Team. He was pretending to be unaware and replied me that he shall revert after checking with his seniors. Here itself, I felt something is fishy and could understand that he has cheated me.
Until 19/07/2014, since Mr.Anand Singh did not revert, I had called him on his mobile 9964647379 the same day at 17:20 pm and checked for his feedback. He was very casual in his approach by replying that he was busy with other clients and that he could not check with his seniors, with further assuring that he shall positively revert on 21/07/2014.
Now, since Mr.Anand Singh did not revert on 21/07/2014, I had called on his mobile 9964647379 repeatedly on 22/07/2014, but to my greatest shock, I found him not answering my call at all nor calling me back.
By now, it was very clear to me that I have been CHEATED by TATA Motors DS1 Sales Team.
In view of your above cheating policy, today my car is already 1 ½ year old and it will be treated in this manner in the market place if I plan to sell my car and more so owing to your cheating methodology, I will definitely never get a better price even if I try to convince the second customer that I have purchased this car in June 2014 with Registration done on 08/07/2014, as the second customer will always go by the document evidence of the car available and which fact is, it is a 2013-manufactured car.
My family and I have always embraced TATA’S in high esteem, but until today after having been CHEATED by TATA Motors, we are unfortunately left only to doubt the integrity & trust on TATA Group, where such unethical business practice takes place purely for business stake & financial gains.
Today, my hard-earned money of Rs.190000/- paid to you for a 2013-manufactured car instead of a June 2014 manufactured car stands trapped as a dead investment. Owing to you cheating done on me, it is also a fact that today I am trying hard to sell off this 2013-manufactured car, but I am not getting the actual nor a decent price, instead, the second customers are bargaining @ Rs.90000/- to Rs.100000/- reasoning that the said car is of 2013 manufactured.
In such a damaging circumstance, I urge your good office to intervene the CHEATING done on me and help resolve my pain either by replacing this 2013-manufactured car with June 2014 manufactured car as was assured by your DS1 Sales Team [OR] take back the 2013-manufactured car and repay me my Rs.190000/- paid.
I humbly await your positive response within a week’s period, failing which; I shall not hesitate taking up my grievance with Consumer Court, Consumer Complaint Forum and other Competent Redressal Authorities to seek justice.
