Substandard qulaity of Products and Services

My complaint is regarding the worst quality of products and services offered by HTC: the company is exploiting Indian consumers by offering the worst quality of products and services.
To spend around 43490 for a phone, is big deal especially when you hail from a middle class family like me. I did buy a HTC One. Very happy and eager I was to buy a phone which was so attractive with best specs since I am gadget lover! Have recommended HTC to many for which I now regret. HTC not only produces poor quality but also practices unfair trade policies, e.g.my first HTC One device which resembled a refurbished handset with pink coloured matter all around, with several issues for which HTC verified and provided me with DOA. The replacement again had issues for which DOA was again provided! For replacements I had to wait for a minimum of 1 week for the first replacement and more than 2 weeks for the 2nd due to unavailability of stock. It caused a lot of inconvenience to me! To submit, collect, load data, travel to and fro.
And now I have my third device which started giving me trouble, within few days of purchase. With issues still unresolved and the device is at the service centre. Presently I reside in Vellore. Everytime, I had to travel all the way from Vellore which has caused so much of inconvenience, travelling more than 5 hours to Bangalore and search for accommodations, taxis, food etc.. Every time I collected my device I was supposed to load data and download the necessary which caused a great inconvenience, time ranging around 3 hrs for data transfer every time. Number of Services made is 4 and again in the service centre for next repair. Apart from 2 replacements of phone and a replacement of an accessory. So I have paid around 15 k till date to travel to service centre apart from food and lodging. Every call to HTC was around 30 minutes on average. In this regard Mr.Irfan (HTC India)assured me of a replacement(after 4th service) if issues persist, ticket no-14WD260034599. And the issues are still persistent, but none of the service centre executives have tried to help me out, except that they asked me to submit the device again and get it serviced, stating that they will get 100% quality checked which is usually said. This isn’t the first time that I was assured of a replacement. I was assured of a replacement even during the month of December for which HTC refused to provide me with details. Every detail is stored in HTC database, but not the assurance of replacements. The worst trade practices a company could ever practice.
Coming to my previous HTC device Desire HD worth Rs.27800, the device caused a lot more inconvenience to me(when I was residing in Bangalore). I was staying in a place 50 kms away from HTC service centre Ovez Communications, Shoolay Circle and one more centre Salora International at HSR layout(which were more easily accessible from my home than the rest via Nice road due to less traffic congestions), apart from the fuel charges I had to pay a toll charge of around Rs150 to and fro if I had to travel to Salora. I own a Mini Sports Bike which just gives a mileage of around 24 kms per litre. So everytime I drop to the service centre I had to spend around Rs 500 to travel to the service centres and time of more than 4 hours every single visit. Number of visits made to the service centre is 8. 6 times for service, twice for accessory replacements. So expenses incurred approximately for travel and tolls Rs 500*(6*2)(once to submit and once to collect)=6000+1000 (for accessories-500*2).
I was about to file a complaint on HTC when I was facing issues with Desire HD, HTC resolved the issue peacefully by providing me with a replacement making me think that device with such issues was an exception hence I didn’t appeal to the court. From my experience as seen in my service reports of both devices, vibrator problems are a common sight in HTC. A vibrator is that which helps in picking a call in a crowded place. A flaw with the vibrator will let one miss important calls and thereby make u lose opportunities which sometimes knocks once. Auto Erase of recent data is another common problem, where one loses important contacts, texts and other data all of a sudden. Seldom I was able to prove to the service centre, but I was able to prove it once so did HTC replace the motherboard of Desire HD. If unlucky one may lose their future itself. In this regard I lost a important business opportunity. Due to loss of contacts at that time, I was considered as uninterested. If it hadn’t happen, I would have probably flourished in business. I probably lost my future itself, as a result it couldn’t be compensated.
Now I am here writing this, because I have lost enough because of substandard devices manufactured by HTC. A warranty of 1 year doesn’t mean that the phone is to repaired once in a month or once in 2 months. One handset, 2 hands-free, motherboard replaced, charger replaced in 8 visits in a span of 1.25 years for HTC desire HD. 2 handset replacements along with one replacement of hands-free in 7 visits to the service centre for HTC One…
