Dear Sir,
RE: Soliciting your kind perusal in view of operation in my Cash Credit Account vide no. 0319250301695 in favour of M/s Chakraborty Trading Co. at your South Sinthee Branch, 7/14 A Dum Dum Road, Kolkata- 700 030.
Apropos to the aforementioned Cash Credit Account I would like to bring the following facts for your kind perusal and seek your advice towards solving the problem for the same.
I. I have been sanctioned a C/C facility for Rs.20.00lac for the purpose of Working Capital Requirement for my above mentioned trading unit on 09.10.2012 by your South Sinthee Br.
II. But, surprisingly I have not been allowed to enjoy full amount of limit granted to me. In the said C/C account, the drawing power has been restricted to half i.e. upto and inclusive of an amount of Rs.10.00lac only.
III. I have had a discussion for a long time with your Branch Head; but, always told me that our limits are controlled by our administrative office. I do not understand, without giving me prior intimation/ information or, any notice etc how my limit can be restricted upto Rs.10.00lac.
IV. As per your sanctioning terms & conditions, conveyed through your sanction letter dated 09.10.2012, no restrictive/ subjective clause is apparent by which one can understand your views. Despite my several requests, your office did not pay heed to me.
V. This is the peak hours of my business. Already I have faced a lot of problem i.e. failing to meet my commitment before my suppliers and due to fund crisis all my contracts are becoming futile. Naturally I am suffering a lot of problems owing to your whimsical decision.
VI. Sir- earlier I was a customer of BOB. But, after persuasion/ discussion had with the B.M. my limit has been taken over by you and accordingly issued sanction letter by the above mentioned branch. As per my experience, the drawing power, D.P. of a C/C limit is computed by ‘the advance values on my paid up stocks (Stock + Book-debts – Sundry Creditors) or, the sanctioned amount whichever is lower’. But, without citing/ clarifying anything elaborately in that sanction letter; how your office can make prevent me from drawings when my D.P are upto the value of sanctioned limit.
VII. Due to paucity of funds, I am unable to run my business smoothly. I would like to mention that I have been running my above mentioned Cash Credit account since more than last five years, maybe with other bank. But, you can never give me any blame that the conduct of that account was unhealthy or, ever it was disclosed as Non Performing Asset. But, if your unpredictable decision leads to dampen/ collapse my business and ultimately my account turn into NPA category, I must vouch that your wrong decision and antipathy towards your customer will be solely responsible for that.
However, being a human being I frankly apprehend the gravity of the mater and would like to invite your personal attention to intervene into the matter; otherwise, shortly we are going to approach towards Courte, demanding for producing ‘Citizen’s Charter’ through RTI and accordingly would like to lodge complain against of your Bank before R.B.I. Ombudsman Cell.
Soliciting your prudent decision towards resolving the issue. Please, do expedite.
