I am forced to bring to your notice some of my recent experiences regarding snapdeal. I have been purchasing from Snapdeal portal for quite some time. However, never had such pathetic experience. Off late I purchased quite a few books (of which 3 of the books have not been sent to me and the orders were cancelled in the pretext of items not being in stock – all from the same vendor – Comma Books). However, to my amazement for 2 of the books, the items are very much available & listed in Snapdeal website from the same vendor (albeit at a higher price). After my first two experiences, when the shipment of the third book (Jeffrey Archer Collections – order no. 1287017523) was getting delayed, I contacted Snapdeal customer support and expressed my apprehension, to which I was told that they would try their level best to get the item shipped. However, it was not shipped and i was informed that the order was cancelled.
I see that Snapdeal is allowing its vendors to take its customers for a ride, else the same experience could not have happened from the same vendor thrice in a row.
The order no. & item no.s are as follows:
1. Order No. 1287017523 , Item No. 1739975400
2. Order No. 1279944783 , Item No. 1730025119
3. Order No. 1273302245 , Item No. 1720308394
All I am asking is that Snapdeal must honor the purchase that i made at snapdeal, that is, provide me with the items that i purchased at the price that i paid. Else, why would I turn to snapdeal to get a deal? The whole idea is getting defeated here. In the end, Snapdeal may refund me the amount (which has not yet happened, by the way),
but that does not help, does it? I, for sure, do not want my money (whatever meager the amount may be) to get stuck with Snapdeal, it’d probably stay happier with me.
I sincerely hope that you would take this into cognizance and look into this, so that none face this kind of experience going forward.
