Service of my Philips QG3383

I have purchased Philips QG3383 full body grooming trimmer from an e commerce sit dated Aug 10 2013.
But it stopped working from mid of May 2014. As the company ofers 2 years warranty i called upon the customer care and they promised me that i will get the service from philips service centre lucknow.
But Philips Lucknow service centre from then made excuses that they dont have spare and when they will have they will contact me. But i did not get a single call.
I went there thrice and when last time i got there on Friday 10th October they told me that:
1: They will replace the same trimmer if i give them half of the cost of original trimmer. I confronted them that product is in warranty why should I pay them!
2: Then after some time one of their worker came and told me that we neither we can replace it nor give you service on the product.
3: Then i met their boss , he asked me to complain to the e commerce site from which i have purchased. But why should i complain my e retailer for philips problem?
4: After they refused to give me service I immediately called on toll free number of philips care. The representative told me thar i will get a call from higher authorities within 24 working hours from the time i called, i.e. Friday 10th October. But it has been 22 days from then i have not recieved a single call regarding my service complaint.

The service is just pathetic and i have not used my trimmer for ast 5 months or more.
