Nature of Complaint : In the year 2009 I had bought an Air Conditioner from Mr. Parikshit, A dealer in Kanpur Mall Road. The A.C. has been troubling since the time taken but this gentleman just did not pay any heeds to the complaint. This very year in the month of June’12. The vendor said that the compressor was giving a problem hence he changed the compressor and charged Rs. 2000/-. Now, today at 1am at night the A.C. caught fire and the fire was coming out of the A.C. Vent. My mother and I were sleeping in the same room. Just in case if I would have not seen the fire a bigger damage would have been done. It has been almost a week now and I am not receiving any calls from them.
I want help from the Consumer Forum people and want that these people should be taught a lesson for cheating the customer.
