I made a transaction with www.sandsshoppinghub.com of 4999/- and bought a combo pack of Aquaguard Sipper, Provogue Sun Glasses, Reebok Combo Watch with which i was assured to be given a 14 Karat Gold Jewelry set. They delivered it to me after 2 months, moreover the products sent by them were not the same as promised. The jewelry set assured was also counterfeited. I immediately spoke with them and have them returned. Needless to say, i asked for my return which they said will be given. I received a call regarding my refund and they asked me to make another transaction for Rs. 10998/- which will not act as payment but would block the limit of my credit card for 4 hours and then only they would give me my refund back. I immediately refused to pay another 10998/- because they have already fooled me before. They said, they won’t give the refund back unless i make this transaction for Rs. 10998. I warned them to lodge a complaint in consumer forum and they bluntly said “please go ahead, there has already been a number of complaint registered against us and nothing has happen as yet”.
They didn’t seem to be worried about me writing to consumer forum which really raises a question that why hasn’t there been any action against these frauds and cheaters. Just because they know there are no consequences, they don’t mind ripping off people and furthermore they don’t care if you approach consumer forums. I expect immediate action on this which would just not set an example for these frauds but also would put a halt on these kind of fraudulence.
