I have purchased one Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 charger from the The Mobile Shoppe, authorised dealer showroom of Samsung, adress 5, Bhupen Bose Avenue, Kolkata-700004, vide their cash memo no. 148 dated 9 may,2014 for Rs.900 and we were told that their is a warranty period of six months. Immediately, after purchase we found that said charger is not working. We immediately complained about the same to said showroom. He asked us to come to their showroom after 3-4 days when he will replace the same faulty charge . When we visited the said showroom we were bluntly told by the staff of the said showroom that he will not replace the same as it is duplicate product of samsung. We were highly surprised to know how authorised showroom of samsung is selling out duplicate product. When we repeatedly argued to replace the same as we are consumer and paid the price for a branded product purchased from a proper showroom. He most rudely told us to do whatever we can do and he will not change/replace charger. This complain is lodged to get back the money with damage as per the provisions of consumer act and to tae necessary action against the said showroom so that no other consumer will be cheated like us . – N.
