RIM fails to repair cell under warranty!

Location/place: Hyderabad

Name of company/service: Research In Motion (RIM)

Gave my blackberry 8520 curve for service under warranty (bought on 21 feb,2011) on 22 June, 2012. The company returned the cell on 10 July, 2012 stating that the warranty does not cover damages done to the cell because of contact with liquid. They also sent a photograph showing that there was liquid and hence it was irreparable by them.
In blackberry, if there is any contact with water then there is a white mark near the battery as well as under the battery near the mother board which turns red on contact with water. In my case, the white patches near the battery and near the motherboard are still white which indicates that the cell was not in contact with water. I find it hard to believe the explanation given by technicians at RIM. The cell is also under warranty but RIM has refused to replace the cell or even repair it.
With service like this, RIM will not only fail to get new customers considering the pricing of its cell phones compared to others in the market, but also lose its existing customers. I am a blackberry fan and I hope RIM does something to address this issue asap!
