RICE WITH ROTTEN CCLUMPS

I am making serious complaint because of the so- called “Elina Long Grain rice” by LT group filthy company has sold to me through More Mega store in the first week of January 2015 in Delhi – Kirti Nagar.
On the morning of 9th February, I opened sealed packet “Elina Long Grain rice” to cook some. I took one bowl directly from the packet to cook it for my baby. Leftover Rice Packet I had started filling into the jar and suddenly a piece of undefined body looks like a rotten Flesh(looks like fish or a bird) or clump of feces fell out into the Jar from the same rice packet. I had initially thought it may be clump of soil or stone but after watching and assessing closely it looks extremely hazardous, toxic and uneatable or unavoidable substance.

Had I already cooked and fed the same rice to my kid who would have been accused of endangering life of my 1 year old kid for consuming the toxic and contaminated rice.

Company people have visited and offered me 10 kg rice as compensation. Also they were least bothered on the same and tried to convince me that it’s not a big issue and it’s just a dirty lump and can be avoided and ignored.

In the conversation further they blamed More hypermarket as a lapse of procedure in storing packets in their ware houses. Also told me that to accommodate more rice bags in warehouse storage department punctures the bag to take out air of bags which might be the reason water or moisture has entered in the respective bag and caused this problem.
As per best of my memory bag was not punctured when I bought it and it was tightly sealed and intact.
It seems value of human life in our country is very less so I have decided to bring this matter to the notice of concerned people and approach legal consumer forum of India .

I should be explained in writing why an action shouldn’t be taken against more hypermarket for incorrect storage of rice ???

I look forward to an immediate reply in this matter. I will exercise my rights under consumer protection act and i have full faith in Indian judicial system.
