Dear Sir,
I have procured ons Sofa sets( one three seaters/1 2 seaters & 1 single seater)in july, 2009 from M/s Durian Industries Ltd., Guwahati at the price of Rs.77,402.00 with guarantee period of 5 years.
Since last three months, it is found that the wooden structure of single seater sofa developed so many holes to the arm created by insecticide. Where other two sets are intact,why in only one set geting erosed.It means, the wood used for fabrication of this sofa is of substandard materials. Theses sofa are kept in hygenic drawing room.
While complaint to the company it has been stated that it will repaired at the extra cost of Rs.16,000.00 to be shared by both.
Why I should pay if they have used substandard raw materials(Wood)has been used in single seaters where other two sets are intact.
Pl help me for replacemnt/repair at no extracost to the consumer & take up the matter with the company at the earliest.
