I’m Abir Bhattacharya. I’m using reliance broadband from January, 2013. From February I’m facing the problem of frequently disconnection and slow speed. 50-60% time of the whole day my internet remains disconnected and when I get back the connection, the download speed is around (3-7)kBps, while my plan is 1 mbps. Whenever I call the customer care, they tell me that we are facing this problem due to network outage and it will be over after a certain day (generally 7-10 days from the day of complaint). But when I again call them after the scheduled day passed, they tell me that they are working on the problem and the date has been extended to another date after 7-10 days. I’m facing this from the last three months and they are extending the date repeatedly, in last three months they have been extended the date 15-17 times, but the problem has never been resolved. In last month I called them for the termination of the internet connection on 13th, but never get any confirmation call till 28th, though their policy says I should get the confirmation call for termination within 2 days of the termination request. From 13th up to 28th I repeatedly complained the customer care and each time they told me that they are escalating my problem, I got a dozens of complain numbers regarding service and termination issue. After 28th I got a call from reliance and they pleaded me that 30th May is the final date of fixing the network outage and request me not to quit the connection. But again they have extended the date upto 7th June and I’m facing the same problem.I called the customer care every time, I told them to send any engineer or technician to my home to see and resolve the issue of my frequent disconnection and negligible speed but till now I haven’t seen any people from reliance except the local distributor agency. I’m fade up of this connection and want to get rid of reliance if they can’t provide service they are promising. Please help
