REGARDING REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF SONY XPERIA Z

I,YOGESH S.SHINDE,HAVE WRITTEN THIS APPLICATION INORDER TO FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST SONY MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS (INDIA) PVT.LTD.
I PURCHASED SONY XPERIA Z,MODEL NO.C6602(BLACK) (IMEI:35566605-357014-8) FROM AUDIO PALACE,CHHOTA ELECTRONICS
(VAT TIN NO:27760242418V &
CST TIN NO:27760242418C),PUNE.
AS PER MENTIONED BY THE COMPANY AND THEIR ADVERTISEMENT,”SONY XPERIA Z IS WATER RESISTANT HANDSET”.
I HAVE BARELY USED THE MOBILE FOR TWO MONTHS AND THE MOBILE IS DEAD DUE TO WATER.
LATER,I WENT TO SONY SERVICE CENTRE,PASALKAR PLAZA,SHIVAJINAGAR,PUNE.
THEY ASKED ME TO CALL THE SERVICE CENTRE AND GET THE TICKIT NO. WHICH WAS 13071500813.
I TOOK THE TOKEN AND GAVE THE MOBILE TO THEM.
AFTER SOME TIME THEY REPLIED THAT THE MOBILE CANNOT BE REPAIRED UNDER WARRENTY AND HAVE TO PAY APPROX. RS.20,000/- FOR REPLACEMENT FOR A NEW ONE.
WE MET THE MANAGER BUT WAS REPLIED WITH SAME ANSWER.
THIS IS NOT AT ALL TOLERABLE AS THE HANDSET ITSELF COSTS AROUND RS.37000/-
AND NOW WE ARE ASKED TO PAY RS.20000/- EXTRA.
I WANT MY MOBILE TO BE REPAIRED BY THE COMPANY.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF MY COMPLAINT AND PLEASE MAKE PROVISIONS FOR THE SAME.
