I have booked Hotel Tanish through Cleartrip.com(Trip ID1410094463) for seven days stay and paid Rs.11,369. However, upon arriving at the Hotel I felt that it is very very far away place and it would be difficult for me to commute I stayed there for three days only, the bill raised was Rs. 4822. The hotel manager Mr. Patil said he would speak to me in a day after speaking to the hotel owner. A week passed by, he did not pick up my call, neither responded to my sms. After that I called up the hotel front desk, there on Mr. Patil responded to me call and said”We cannot give your money back, if you want come and stay back here for the remaining money. And you have not given me the money, you booked through cleartrip, so you should speak to them.” Then I called cleartrip, and they asked to me speak to the hotel as they said they have given the hotel money. After repeated calling cleatrip, I convinced them that it was of no use talking to the Hotel as they are not responding on this topic. Cleartrip asked me 48 hours to get back on this. Now after that when I called back today, they said we will get back to you, we need to speak with the hotelier. CLeartrip is not taking any responsibility. Its like a catch 22. Being a consumer who paid the hotel through cleartrip, i am facing difficulty even coming to a place to talk about it. Cleatrip is not doing anything. Please help me get back my Rs 6547.
