Name of company/service: Flight Shop, TGIP Mall NOIDA
I took visitor visa processing service for my mother from flight shop store located in TGIP mall NOIDA. Name of travel sales consultant handling the visa application was Anuj Atharva. I paid them for Rs. 11612/- for multiple entry visitor visa to Canada, but when visa was granted I got to know that single entry visitor visa was granted. Upon inquiry regarding the same Anuj said that since we filed for multiple entry but only single entry visa is given, we will be refunded for the excess amount which is Rs. 3772/-. But he never got that refund made available to me. I kept called him many times from Canada regarding the refund, but he kept on making excuses and kept the matter lingering. The height was this lackadaisical service on behalf of flight shop was that when I personally confronted Anuj on 3rd Dec 2012 (at the TGIP Noida store), he was still making excuses that head office has not processed etc etc. At this moment his team lead and Asstt Manager Maneesh Srivastava stepped and said that he will make sure that refund is processed by the weekend. But when I called Maneesh on Friday 7th Dec’12 evening, he too lost his cool and said that week will end on Sunday and before that he cannot process the refund. Upon pressing for fixed date and time, he committed to provide the refund thru checque on Sunday 9th Dec’12 at 11am. But again that didn’t happen and this time Mr Maneesh started making excuse that Anuj has got the refund encashed, but he has resigned. So the refund will be available in a day or two, but that never happened. Againg when I called Maneesh today and confronted him for lingering the matter he said that money has to be recovered from Anuj Atharva and he will be able to provide the same on Monday 24th Dec’12. When I asked Maneesh to acknowledge the same on email (in response to my many emails) he said that he will do it in 10 minutes, but there was no email from him even after 3 hours. This is very bad service and seriously seems to be FRAUDULENT conduct on part of Flight Shop and its employees on TGIP mall Noida. If I don’t receive the refund on 24-Dec-12, I will report this matter to Canadian High Commission in Delhi and complain this to consumer forum.
