I recently bought a mobile phone device and the user manual was in FRENCH..In the box with all information in English who would imagine this? Only after I unpacked did i came to know of it. I wanted an ENGLISH user manual, Hard Copy in Paper.
I wrote to Nokia but no one responded. Post my reminder, a representative called and in an abusive manner told that I can have this downloaded online. I replied that the company had caused a deficiency in service by not providing the right manual in the box, but he was adamant.
He asked for purhase details..I gave him the shop details, the invoice number, date of purchase, IMEI number, Model Number, Make, Type etc.. i.e ALL details I possibly could find with me.
He asked for a scanned copy to which I answered factually that I dont have a scanner & they can send a representative to get this scanned or i will spend time/money/loss of pay to get this done & they can reimburse this. He refused.
I asked for the escalation details, he refused.
In the entire episode the attitude was of utmost callousness and apathy.
Please help.
