I bought a Ford figo Titanium in 2012. while driving if you applied a sudden brake, rear seat will move forward 10 to 15mm. On many occasions the passengers in rear were thrown forward.
The seat bracket has started failing/developing cracks. I had launched a complaint in the ford call center.
Figo team suggest that need to wear seat belt other wise seat will move forward.
I understand wearing seat belt will prevent passengers being thrown forward but i still don’t understand how the entire seat can move forward?
Initially the ford team took the compliant and responded to wear seat belt but still i have not got a solution for the bracket failure.
The response from ford in this regard is very poor and they are not worried about passenger safety and also they have not placed warning note inside the car to wear rear seat belt.
