PROVIDING FALSE INFORMATION

Name of company/service: AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE

I have applied for postpaid to prepaid conversion in dec after paying my due bills. I also said them that I will pay the outstanding, but airtel customer care and a airtel personnel who collected my document said that my remaining amount will be adjusted.The person whom I submitted the document told me that if there is any problem in conversion, I will be informed. But no msg came to me so I thought there was no problem, but from Jan I kept receiving calls that I have withstanding bills and my no is not converted. When I consult the same girl of airtel who did my conversion, she told me that its converted and I should say the other personnels of airtel that i won’t pay as the bill has been adjusted and the connection has been converted to prepaid.I want your help. i was willing to pay at the time of conversion, but the customer care girl said that its converted and also the balance has been adjusted, but now I get calls that the bill is around 1700. Plz help me out.
