Request your assistance with my below stated grievance;
I had placed a request for ‘ORPAT Room Heater’ after seeing the the advertisement in the ‘Time Of India’ newspaper dated 16th December, 2012.
(You can find the same on the left bottom corner on the Page-4- Time City, Sunday Times of India, Pune – 16-Dec-2012.)

As per the advertisement the offer was ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Free – ORPAT Room Heater @ 1999’, after seeing this add the only reason i placed the order (Order # 3001809474) for the same was
because it stated Buy 1 Get 1 Free which means you pay for 1 and you get 1 free. Also the offer stated ‘ORPAT Room Heater @ 1999’ which is singular and not ‘ORPAT Room Heaters @ 1999’ which would
have been plural.
So you can probably now comprehend the mis-selling done, when i received the product the MRP (Maximum Retail Price) on the product was Rs.1290 (Please refer the Image 2 & Image 3 for the proof of the same.)
To add to my further gross mis-selling, the Retail Invoice for received with the product quoted the of 1 unit as Rs.888.44/-only (Ex-vat @ 12.5%) so the actual cost of the 1 unit including VAT @12.5 is Rs.999.5 only.
Hence I have in fact paid the full retail cost for 2 product as Rs.1999. Than, How is it a Buy 1 Get 1 Free offer ???

This is a really bad instance of breach of consumer trust, and for me Indiatimes was one of the honest and fair and high quality online eCommerce business dealer. The entire above stated instance has made me
reconsider my perception about Indiatimes.
I have been cheat, hence i want you’ll to please strongly look into this situation and take the remedial action so none of your loyal consumer is put thru such hassle as the one i had to go thru.
I could want you’ll to reverse the Rs.999.5 charged extra, so as to honor the original offer of Buy 1 Get 1 Free and also include a compensatory amount for the expenses I incurred to make the below escalation
(i.e; Internet Charges, Scanning Charges & Multiple phone call charges I incurred).
