Product not delivered saying out of stock after accepting payment

I had booked Lee Cooper Floaters on 12-07-2014,
At the time of booking product was In stock,
When I inquired on 18-07-2014, customer care representative informed me that my order was cancelled due to non availability of product, and I will get refund in next 5-7 days.
When Snapdeal is taking orders from customers it should check the availability of the stock.
This is very wrong practice to display n nos of product on site only for show off, accepting the orders and then cancelling the orders saying product is out of stock.
Online buyers should aware about such malpractices of the e-retailers.

  2. I have also ordered two pairs of Puma floaters from snapdeal.com on 12 July 2014. After 3 days, they said, there is some delay, will be despatched in 3 working days. Now after a week they are telling serviceability issue. I understand, being in a metro city, it cannot be the issue of courier service. So, it means they do not have stock enough to fulfil the number of orders they have taken. There should be some penalty for accepting and not delivering the order. Order no.2424512289
