This is regarding platinum credit card no :4862 6989 0314 3279. This was a life time free credit card issued from HSBC bank.Suddenly without any prior information through e-mail or SMS this card was charged with an annual fees of Rs 2000/-. I discussed this with the customer care of HSBC bank and came to know that there will be no more life time free credit cards. I had Rs 36,000/- pending fr that card except the annual fees. I paid that amount and requested the closure of that credit card and also informed that they can redeem my bonus points to claim the annual fees.I had more than 6,000 bonus points for that card. Now I don’t know why this was not redeemed and I am receiving calls everyday from the bank to pay the outstanding amount which is more than Rs 4,000/- now.And the funniest thing is that now and then I am receiving mails in my personal gmail id to apply for a life time free credit card from HSBC bank.
On my complaining about the case they replied with the following

See the lies in the above mail. I am absolutely not sure how is 21st September,2012 is not within the 6 months of closure date 08th May,2012. And when I had closed the card I had already requested for redemption of my bonus points.
Please look into this case.
Thanks and regards,
Sandipan Paul
