Respected Sir,
I had purchased a Lenovo G560 Laptop from VCL Infotech Ltd.,F-7C, First Floor,Janak Place,Janakpuri Dist. center,New Delhi-110058 (ph. no.- 011-25573081/82) on 25 th May ,2012 vide invoice no. VCL-F7C-0512-047 (TIN No.-07320308562).
But it was observed on 23rd July,2012 , the laptop display screen suddenly got blackened during operation.
I had complained about this problem to the customer care & shown it to service center(Comnet Infotech Ltd.,Janakpuri Dist. Center,New Delhi-110058)(Ph no.-9711733695) with the complaint no.-4270540936 dated 24th July,2012.
The Service center persons were reluctant to look into the problem & on the contrary they maliciously declared it was physically damaged,though they couldn’t show any sign of physical damage. Without getting any solution from Service center, i telephoned the Customer technical support division on 24th July,2012 vide ph. no.’s 180030029929, 18004259003 &180042555554. They first stated me the complaint was cancelled & on my request they again registered my complain issued complain no. 4270544796 & directed me to take a snapshot of my laptop at switched on & off conditions, accordingly i had taken snapshots & sent them to the Mail address of Mr. Dipankar ([email protected] , [email protected]) .
But they replied me that the pictures were not clear & so i requested them to take the Snapshots at their end. Mr. Ram of service center Janakpuri, had turned up to take the photographs of my laptop on 26th July,2012 & arranged to sent them to “customer technical support” through Mr. Ritesh Mehta of the Janakpuri Service center. But when i again called to the Service center on 29th July, 2012, Mr. Ritesh said that as the pictures were not clear,he had not mailed it to the technical support division & will be mailing soon.
I consider the above act of service center as a unnecessary harassment to me by delaying solution to this simple problem.
I maintained constant interactions with the technical support team daily over phone . They informed me around 31st July that the complain is in process & awaiting approval. After 2 weeks of constant follow up i couldn’t get any solution instead they mailed me to send snapshots of the laptop again.
I had lost faith on the customer care center & want to appeal to the consumer forum for redressal of the problem either by replacement of the laptop or by refunding the cost of the laptop including the expenditure bourne by me during this follow up.
Since 23rd July , i had failed to do important work of my project due to the constant delaying of the technical support& mental harrasment due to the same.
