Hi All,
I am in serious trouble with Airtel telecom. I have been using Airtel telecom service for more than 5 years and have been quite loyal customer as prepaid user with no bad experience in the past. Couple of weeks back i decided to convert my prepaid number to postpaid number and this decision of mine turned a disaster of my life. I made request for conversion on 09.03.13 and was told and have document which says that conversion will be completed with 72 hours. We are now on 20.03.13 and the conversion has not happened and the worst is that my prepaid is deactivated and new sim not yet activated which means i am NOT connected to anyone from sunday 17.03.13 because of what i would surely have missed all my important calls from my clients or form anyone. I am a freelancer professional so i could imagine the loss i would have faced due to this problem.I continue to try my level best with Airtel outlet based at Indira nagar and with customer care executive but nothing seems to fall in their deaf ears.I am so pissed off and NOW angry(not disappointed anymore) that i have made my mind to go to consumer court to drag Airtel to face a trail and seek for justification and to recover the loss i faced due to their false promise and negligence.
Please advice if what can be done from side to settle this issue.
I will otherwise go and contact a lawyer to file e petition and to issue a notice to Airtel.
