Poor Credit Card Service of HDFC

Hi All,

First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Kushal Kumar Chaudhary and working with Steria Ind Limited from last 2 years. And I am also a existing HDFC bank customer.

Going forward I would like to bring to your notice that in the month of april 2013 I got a call from HDFC Credit card tele caller for applying a new credit card. Listening to the offer, I showed my interest and submitted the required documents to the executive. Since it was my first time that I was applying a credit card, I made a mistake and did not ask for the receipt of the form. Anywise, when I did not got a response for more than 40 days then I contact to same executive. He provided me a reference number: 13051420224180N1 after chasing him for 5 to 6 days. I got further status from customer care to the corresponding reference number. Everytime they took details and update me that application is under processing and did not come up with any final result. In between bank executive has again took documents from me.

After somedays my address has also been verified along with telephonic verification regarding my job. Now near about 2 months from the date of applying for credit card I didn’t got any further communication from customer care regarding my credit card application. I again called to customer care and they update me that my application has been declined due to some loan payment issue.
They gave me some silly reason that I had a loan on me in my past and an EMI check has been bounced for the same loan. This reason is just a fake and silly reason as I know whether I had applied for the loan in my past or not. Then how it is possible to bounce any EMI check as still to todays date I didn’t gave any single check of my account to anyone. Till today I didn’t finance a mobile for me guys then how it is possible a having loan on me.

I just want a single more help from you guys just ask HDFC from myside that form where they fetch these type of fake details. And I need answer for this as I was mentally harassed by your bank executive for 3 months. If you are unable to provide credit card to your customers then don’t tell your executive not to disturb us.

Now can you please tell me one thing, when your bank doesn’t have a proper response procedure, they why do you go to public for your so called facilities/offers. When you cant provide a pre-customer based service, then how can we expect that after being your customer we will have a better support.

Going forward, I am not interested anymore in your credit card. Also I will never apply for the same again. The only thing is that please stop cheating people and give some valued support. Somehow I feel bad that I hold a account with HDFC bank.
