Sub: Passing of death claim of Shri Virbhan Sharma (expired) under policy no. 874180981 on ex-gratia with out interest and accident benefit.
Dear Sir,
with reference to above captioned , I would like to inform you the below mentioned details of Late . Virbhan Sharma claim.
Mr. Virbhan Sharma was my son and whatever the money lying in this policy as first year premium is fully and solely of mine, Mr. Kailashchandra Sharma but some part of money was deposited in his name for which, due to mistake of assistant, BOC was issued with wrong surname ‘Chaudhary’. The premium doesn’t contain any money of his uncle or any other family member nor any non family member.
My deposit and Mr. Chaudhary’s deposit (Wrong Surname) both were deposited under Mr. H P Shah’s agency with the hands of his peon to Branch-1 and till date no one had claimed the deposit and as branch was knowing the mistake they had converted as deposit of Mr. Virbhan Sharma’s policy and on that understanding the policy was issued.
As the deposit money was of Mr. Virbhan Sharma only, how LIC can pass the claim on ex-gratia basis?
It is difficult to understand for me that though the policy issued from my money and no issue raised then how the issue raised on claim?
Why I should be sufferer when for small amount premium receipt is miss printed by the cashier and that too used for my proposal registration and then the same amount transferred to my son’s policy account.
This issues was a not a problem in registering neither my proposal nor my son’s proposal nor during issuing his policy and this is issue when death claim is payable!
I request you pay my due with interest and accident benefit as it was an accidental death !!!
I hope for positive and open minded decision.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Kailashchandra Sharma
