My name is kumar shantanu and I am staying in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad and working in a multinational company. I bought a battery for my Huandai i10 car of “Jay ace technology” make on 1st march 2012 but this battery came out faulty and started giving trouble from January 2013 and I have started facing problem due to the same. I logged a complain of the same (complain No-6578 )in first week of February to their customer care but I didn’t get any response from the company. Somehow I have been managing the things by recharging the battery and to call breakdown services till the end of February. Due to the same I spent lots of money. Now the situation is…the battery is not even getting recharged and my car is parked for last 20 days and my life has become hassleful due to the same.
When I call to the customer care they respond me in these words….”we are not providing our services into Ghaziabad region hence you have to come down at our service center if you want replacement else we can’t provide you the replacement”. My question is as such as simple that is it logical to say to any customer to come down to service center to claim the warranty, as far as the within warranty replacement of faulty automobile battery is concerned? Definately NO! How can anyone carry the faulty battery, if his car is not getting started even. Do they mention and convey to their customers before buying the battery that they won’t be providing warranty and after sales services of their products if customer doesn’t stay within such city or area? I have called up several times to the customer care but they didn’t listen and never tried to understand my problem for what I have been facing on. The point shoud be noted that the company has its service center in Ghaziabad city (Address mentioned on their warranty card- 195, New arya Nagar Ghaziabad) and they are not taking care of my complain and showing their inability saying that they can’t provide the onsite warranty within ghaziabad. I have evidance of this negligence and have record of conversation done between me and customer care executive in which, the executive is finally denying on behalf of the company to provide their after sale and warranty support to their customer.
My humble request to you to please help me in providing the replacement of my battery and the compensation for the mental, physical and economical hrashment I have been facing due to the unprofessional behaviour of “Jay ace Technologies Ltd”.
