Not attending calls by call centre

Location/place: Sector 82 Noida

Name of company/service: Vodafone Essar Limited

I had lost my cell phone 02-Nov-2010 which had Vodofone sim. I called vodafone call centre on 9811098110 to block the sim. It took 15 minutes (3 call drops from airtel for each 3 minutes) for call centre executive to attend the call. To block a sim, 15 minutes is not acceptable. While the service provider charge for speaking to call centre executive, at the same time service provider also should pay for putting consumer on hold for unreasonable duration. This need to be taken up.
