I booked a hotel in Nainital from travelguru.com. The booking id is TGU0001558257 and in the name of Mr. Dipendra Singh. But it turns out that the hotel is not in Nainital its in Mukteshwar, 1.5 hrs journey from Nainital and also there’s no room left. According to the website, its in Nainital and I also spoke to a customer support exec., and she too confirmed it and said its walking distance from Mall road. Also, I spoke to the hotel receptionist and he said he’d called travelguru several time that they have no rooms available but they did not listen. So, this is how wrong information is on travelguru.com. After cancelling the booking, they said I will be refunded in 4-5 working days. But today 16 days have past by and yet they are saying it will again take 4-5 working days and they are completely unaware why is this taking so long.
This entire event is causing me lot of inconvenience. Because of this I had to cancel my trip as well.
